Frodella, Michael A.

Michael A. Frodella, 66 of Andover Township, died Friday Nov. 14, 2014, at the Franciscan Oaks Health Care Center in Denville following a long illness. Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., he has lived in Andover Township for the past 25 years. 
Son of the late Angelo and Assunta (DeVivo) Frodella, Michael had a long career as a drawback tax specialist in the import export field. A very devout Christian, he was a long time and active member of the Lafayette Federated Church. Michael enjoyed participating in numerous bible studies and was especially devoted to prison ministries in New Jersey and New York. 
A loving and compassionate man, Michael enjoyed old movies, music, long car rides, playing cards and most of all spending time with his family. A special man to his friends and family, he will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years Maryann (Giammarino) Frodella; his son Jonathan Frodella of New York, N.Y.; his brothers Frank and Anthony Frodella; as well as his sister Teresa Aguilar and many nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 18, at, noon in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main St., Newton. Interment will immediately follow in the Newton Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. until noon.
