Rosano, Rose "Rosie"

Rosano, Rose age 89 of Newton, NJ died at home peacefully with her loving family by her side Saturday September 13th, 2014. Born and raised in Franklin, NJ she has resided in Newton most of her life.

            Daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Krempmspanba) Franek, Rose had worked many years as a cashier and in the pet department of the former Newberry’s Department Store Newton, as well as retiring after working twenty seven years as a cashier for the former Newton A&P.

A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Rose enjoyed gardening and caring for animals. She loved taking care of her family and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Rosano was pre deceased by her beloved husband Raymond Anthony Sr. in 2008 as well as her three brother and six sisters. Survivors include her sons Michael A. Sr. of Newton and Raymond A. Jr. of Union City, GA, her daughters Patricia A. Henson of Forrest City, Arkansas and Rose A. and her husband John Vanduzer of Frankford Twp., NJ. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren Michael A. Jr. and Dawn Ann Rosano, Brian and Mark Henson and Darrell Vanduzer as well as her loving great grandchildren Jessica, Kimberly, Nicole, Joseph Rosano and Jackson Krei.   The Rosano family would like to express a very special thank you to all the caring staff at the Valley View Care Center Newton, NJ.

Funeral services at a later date will be announced, Private family services are under the direction of the Iliff Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main Street, Newton, N.J. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice #99 Sparta Ave. Newton, NJ 07860.

Rose Rosano could not have had a more loving and devoted daughter than Rose Vanduzer whom I had the pleasure to work with for many years. My sympathy goes out to all family and friends of the Rosano & Vanduzer families
