Tramontozzi, Marjorie W.

Tramontozzi, Marjorie W. age 60 of Hampton Twp., NJ passed away peacefully, Thursday February 26th, 2015 at her home with her loving family at her side. Marjorie’s courageous fight against cancer inspired her son’s creation of www.pincancer.org. Born in Hackensack, NJ Marjorie lived in Montvale and Boynton Beach FL for many years before moving to Hampton Twp. In 1985.

Daughter of the late Frank and Kathleen (Foote) Francis, Marjorie was a graduate of Pascack Hills High School class of 1973. Since she missed her high school prom, she was pleasantly surprised by her family, who recently hosted a “Vintage Prom” reenactment for her. A truly loving, devoted, and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Marjorie loved spending time with her family as well as cooking. She recently fulfilled her lifelong wish of visiting England and seeing the Queen. A very spiritual person, Marjorie touched many lives through her work as a Home Health Aid. She transcended her job description by hosting families in her own home as well as organizing fundraisers for anyone in need.

Mrs. Tramontozzi was pre deceased by a brother Chuck Francis. Survivors include her beloved husband of forty one years Danny J., her daughters Christine D. and her husband DJ Lindo of Hampton Twp., and Tara L. and her husband Dennis Jones of Newton. Also survived by her son Danny C. of Hampton Twp., her grandchildren Ellie, Gracie and Charlie Lindo, Shelby and Cody Jones, as well as her brother William Francis of Charlotte, NC.

Memorial Visitation will be held Tuesday March 3, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. Memorial funeral services will be held Wednesday March 4th at 10:00 AM in the Baleville Congregational Church #6 Church Rd. Hampton Twp., NJ. My toughts and prayers for your family during this sad sad time. I hope you find comfort in that she is now pain free. you did so much for your mother in the last year with the prom and girls sleepover. Memories that I'm sure you both will cherish. Your mom is lucky to have had such a loving family and you with a wonderful mother.

To the Tramontozzi Family, I didn't know your Marjorie, well enough for sharing memories, however all the LOVE your family has shared is the GREATEST tribute of LOVE to a person I have ever seen. A Loving wife, mother, grandmother & sister. I remember, Tara, your wedding, I was grateful for this one memory. One of the most romantic places that you & Dennis had chosen. Beautiful landscapes, butterflies everywhere. I came looking for the bridal area to see how you ladies where doing before the ceremony & I had just met your Mom. How proud she was, to be the Mother of a wonderful young lady!!!I remember the quick storm before the wedding, showers of happiness, they say!!! Erica performing the ceremony, what a celebration!!! A Beautiful memory!!! Then you & Dennis giving Mom the best gift of life, her grandchildren. Between her loving children giving her these five precious gifts, your Mom will live on in the memories you share in your HEARTS...My sincerest condolences, Michele Munoz

Oh Marge, what a beautiful lady inside and out. We will miss you. Memories, there are so many, but most of all we will miss the fun we had and the times we shared. Our talks were the best. Just us and coffee, or a drink or two. Warm, sunny days by the pool or keeping warm with coffee on cold nights. You teaching me to "cook Italian" such laughter. God welcomes you Marge, you are such a special angel, and until we are all together enjoy catching up with family and friends that have gone before, no more pain only peace. We love you.
