Pete was one of the most influencale people in my life, he showed me how to grow up,from moving away from my family to finding "my extended family". Where our relationship has gone through some storms..some extreme, I know he always loved me, as I did him. He will always own a piece of my heart. Love you Pete. Farewell my friend
So glad we were able to speak on the phone last year. Many fond memories come to mind of when we were kids growing up in Pennyton Homes. My deepest sympathies to Pete's family. John Pongrac

Pete, your smile and kindness will never be forgotten. Every November/December you created an event for the needy. You had tons of food, Christmas trees and toys for the children, that you gave away for free. This was all for families that could use a little help around the holidays. You told me that you wanted to give back to those who were struggling. Imagine all those families you helped put smiles on their faces because someone cared. I am happy to call you Friend. Hugs Donna

Some of the best and happiest times of my life were spent with my loyal and loving friend Pete. I feel so lucky to have had him as a friend. My heart goes out to his girls, Mom, sisters, and the rest of his family. He was a kind and generous guy and there was never a dull moment when he was around. My deepest condolences. I only just found out about Pete's passing. I could not be more sad. He was the best man of my marriage. Sadly my marriage didn't last, I will think fondly of Pete. I remember being on Pete's boat in Brick township where he had a slip. The ocean was really rough one day and I seriously thought I was going to die but Pete got us back to the inlet. He was a great captain!

We just found out today 5/20/14 that Peter passed away and we were so saddened to hear it. We know Peter from Forge Landing Marina as he was one of our "B Dock" family members. Peter was kind, generous and knew how to make a good time and have a good time. Most of all Peter was a wonderful human being. We have so many great memories of times spent with Peter on and off the dock. We will truely miss Peter's smile and infectious laughter. Our deepest sympathies are with you all as you continue your time of grieving. Lori & Buddy Haley
