Mr. Trudgeon was an amazing human being! He was a great role model for many of us in and out of school. His favorite saying to me was "Try harder Teresita! You can do this!" I always admired his confidence and his positive attitude everyday! He has left many great memories in my heart and the heart of many people. He's now with our Lord joining his kingdom of angels. RIP Mr. Trudgeon. Prayers to the family Trudgeon.

First met Todd at East Stroudsburg as one of five other college roommates and immediately was captivated by his friendly persona and quick wit. I would soon learn that Todd had a competitive side also. He beat me and all of the other roommates in darts nearly every time. Todd joined a local fraternity, Beta Upsilon Zeta and I followed him there the next semester. He was my big brother. Todd was an active fraternity brother who never missed an opportunity to help out or to brighten your day. After many years some fraternity brothers, including Todd and I reconnected last year. It was wonderful and Todd was his usual witty self. Todd, you are forever ingrained in my memory. God Bless you and your family. FMB

Todd & I were part of the same fraternity in college at ESU. Back then he was sure to make you laugh with his quick wit. He was smart and positive about everything...truly an all around great guy. Apparently, Todd remained the same throughout his life touching everyone's heart and inspiring all that he could with his attitude. I want to thank Todd for all the great moments he shared with us all. My condolences to all that loved him. In heaven he is singing Working for MCA...I am sure of it!

When I look back at my high school career there wasn't to many days that Coach T wasn't apart of my daily inspiration as a mentor and role model. As you grow from a young teen to a man you start to notice that things you pickup and become thankful that you were fortunate to have a male figure in your life like Coach T. He will be missed but always a part of my life. Rephel Martin

Dear Mrs. Trudgeon, My family and I have many fun and funny memories of Todd. He was always the cool cucumber until he let a zinger fly, then he'd break into that wide grinned smile. When Cathy was dating him we felt like he was part of our family, and both my parents liked Todd too. My dad also taught at Dover and he was proud that Todd was at "his"school. So many memories, he made us all feel comfortable with his warmth and I hope you can rest easy knowing you raised him well.

Coach Trudgeon, Thank you for being a great teacher, role model, mentor, and friend. You always greeted me with "Cruzer," and had countless nicknames for your students and athletes that some of us still go by to this day. Throughout my time at DHS, you encouraged me to push myself physically and mentally, and told my mom - "Mrs. Cruz, Your son can be anything he wants to be." - something that she still refers to 20 years later. More importantly, you helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. Coming back from mono my senior year, I had a terrible start to my wrestling season and was informed that my mother had cancer. It seemed like the perfect storm of bad news. As she battled cancer for the first time, you listened to me when I needed someone to listen. You encouraged me to keep fighting on the wrestling mat, and to stay strong for my mother, family, and myself. I can't thank you enough for your advice, help, and friendship. I hope to leave a legacy as great as yours one day. RIP Trudge.

I was lucky to have worked with Todd for 34 summers. I was luckier to have been able to call him my friend. His work ethic was second to none. His quick wit and laughter will be missed. I love you and will miss you. Thanks for being such a great role model to so many! I will see you on the go round, until then RIP my friend.

Just learned of Todd's death at the gym today. He & I shared an interest in the same kind of books...he always shared the most recent published books w/me. I generally got mine from the library sales...always looked forward to the next bunch that he would lend me. Didn't know until today that, Debbie, you were his sister. My sincerest sympathies to you & your family.

Dear Trudge, Debbie, and Johnny. So sorry for you loss of Toddy. May God ease your pain and sorrow. I have so many fond, fun memories of him!! In my senior year at NHS Todd formed the Nanc Luchett Fan Club he was such a cut-up. I don't remember the words to the club theme song but he'd be singing it whenever I saw him in the halls ???. I will sorely miss his infectious laugh and smile!! Rest in peace Toddy and hope you and Lowie have already met up ??

I had the pleasure of working with Todd for 13 years during my tenure at DHS. Working for the Tiger R.A.P. program, I got to know Todd well. We always enjoyed talking about sports, especially the Mets as Todd knew I love them. Todd was such a TREMENDOUS support to the Tiger R.A.P. program. With his students he focused on personal integrity & responsibility & a sense of pride in one's accomplishments. Such a loss to the world when a fine person is no longer with us. My sincere sympathies to Todd's family & friends.

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May God almighty, father of tender mercies and all comfort continue to comfort you all (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). How glad we are that God has promised to completely remove death, tears, mourning, outcry and pain (Revelation 21:4). Indeed we all eagerly anticipate the fulfillment of that promise. The Bible also provides assurance of a real hope of resurrection for our dead loved ones in the coming near future (John 5:25). May these promises from God bring you comfort.
