Sam & his brothers, Jack & Bobby were a huge part of my small NJ family, throughout my youth. Their Mom, my Aunt Kay & their Dad, Sam were also my Godparents & I very fondly remember spending summer weeks @ the Delaware Watergap w/them! My first boating experiences were spent w/these great guys & Sam & Carol's wedding was the very first wedding I was ever invited to ??? Always felt a middle child connection to Sam & good Lord, he could always make me laugh!! I know we didn't keep in touch, like we should have, but the loss of Sam has shaken me & I will always miss his free spirit! God bless Carol, Heather, Donovan & their children, as well as Sam & Carol's grandchildren - Sending much love & sincere condolences to you all.

My entire family is beyond words and ideas of how to say goodbye to Sam. For most of my life in Andover, Sam was the "mayor" of lake Illif and/or the leader of the pool league. Either way, Sam was a man who loved his community, his family and his friends. And of course, his pets. He was truly a great man and on behalf of the entire Monesmith and Heuschkel families, I extend our love to Carol, Heather, Don, and his entire family in this time of loss.

Where do you start to say goodbye to someone whom with wit, humor, & love referred to as "Dial a Party Sam". Since meeting Sam at the age of 21 the memories are to many & some to funny to list. Although Carol & Sam probably never knew this, it is because of them we decided to get married and start a Family. Actually watching Heather around the campfire was a big part of that decision. It's with great sadness and love we say goodbye Sammy & we will see you later. Our love to Carol, Heather, Donovan and all his grandchildren & large extended family. We were all blesses to have all of you in our lives & always will. He will always be in our hearts & fond memories... Goodbye Sam. Frank, Marci, Vinny & Sami
